Sandwell’s House Project officially launched on the 13th February 2024 and provides another pathway for our young people preparing to leave care.

We are currently working with our first ever Cohort of young people.

We have different agencies coming into our group sessions to support us in delivering the House Project Programme such as Brook, Decca and the Virtual School. We also have opportunities for the group to visit Utilita’s energy hub in West Bromwich as well as spend time with our Housing colleagues in work shops around managing their home.

What do young people think?

Sandwell’s House Project has offered my YP a valuable independence experience to take forward into independent living, a great friendly group of people who are always on hand to help. My YP has loved the social aspect this project has given him creating bonds with other YP in a similar position to himself.
Sarah, Foster Carer

A brighter future and community for our young people.
